Henrikh Mkhitaryan has not enjoyed a fruitful start to his Manchester United career after the Armenian international has only started once in first six months at the club.
Former Dortmund playmaker has been constantly bogged down with a thigh injury which has not allowed him to play regular football at Old Trafford.
Citing Mkhitaryan’s current situation, The Sun reported a story earlier today where they claimed that the 27-year-old is on his way out of the club amid rifts with Jose Mourinho.
The Sun claimed that Mkhitaryan will not play for United until January as he has clearly failed to impress his new manager.
Despite the player’s absence from starting XI, the stories linking him away from Old Trafford make no sense as he is yet to play full 90 minutes under Mourinho.
We often hear managers worry about their players not being 100% match fit and that has ben the case with Mkhitaryan so far this season.
He was Bundesliga’s player of the year last season and no one goes from being that good to being perceived as a waste space in a matter of few months.
Once fit, he will start games for United which can only be a positive sign for both Mourinho and United given their early season traumas.
