£56m bid submitted – Arsenal receive boost in chase of world class striker after club name their price

Arsenal have been told to pay a whopping £86million if they want to sign Torino’s Andrea Belotti, according to striker’s agent.

According to reports from Goal, Gunners did submit a £56million offer for Belotti which was swiftly turned down by the Serie A side.

Belotti’s agent Sergio Lancini has since come out and claimed that his client will not leave Torino unless a club decided to meet his release clause, which is reportedly close to 100million (£86m).

Lancini said: “Many clubs are interested”, Lancini told Goal. “€65million is not enough. His clause is €100million. That’s all I can say at the moment”.

Chances of Arsenal signing Belotti – 1/5

Until the time Arsene Wenger is in charge if Arsenal, I do not see any £50millin signing at Emirates, let alone a mind-boggling £86million transfer.

Belotti has indeed started 2016/17 season on a real high but leading the Serie A scoring charts for just 6 months does not mean clubs will come forward and pay 86million for his signing – A no brainer this one!
