Kostas Manolas has emerged as a shock defensive target for the likes of Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester United and Inter Milan.
Manolas was subject to interest from Premier League sides last summer but Roma stood firm on their refusal to sell.
AS Roma even rejected a £35million offer from Arsenal last summer and are forcing clubs to bid higher for the Greek international.
And his agent Ioannis Evangelopoulos says there is no pressure for the Greece international to leave Italy.
“There is a valid contract with Roma until 2019,” Evangelopoulos told Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“Kostas wants to play well in a Roma jersey.
“As for renewing his contract, at the moment I do not know. I can’t respond to that question.
“But I should say that he is happy in Rome.”
Asked if Chelsea have been in touch regarding Manolas’ availability, the agent added: “I’d rather not comment.”
