Chelsea to sign West Ham superstar this summer after contract talks put on hold

West Ham winger Michail Antonio is holding out for £70,000 a week after rejecting the club’s latest contract offer, according to The Guardian.

They report that Chelsea have shown an interest in the 27-year-old but no official approach has been made yet.

Antonio only signed a contract extension last summer which runs until 2020 but West Ham were keen to offer a pay rise after giving new signings Jose Fonte and Robert Snodgrass far better terms.

However, Hammers have failed to keep their end of the deal and Antonio is now getting impatient and is looking for other options this summer.

The talented winger has scored 9 times for West Ham this season and is being eyed by Antonio Conte as the ideal signing this summer.

Conte wants an upgrade on Victor Moses and sees the Englishman the best suited played. According to The Guardian, a bid in the region of 25-30m will be enough to bring the 27-year-old to Stamford Bridge next season.
