As Arsene Wenger struggles to make the signing of Monaco Ace Thomas Lemar possible, the manager will be loaning out or selling some players, turns out Arsenal forward Stephy Mavididi is one of the players.
The Gunners will be loaning Mavididi to the Championship side Preston Fc this summer, according to reports from BBC Sport.
The England U-19 international is yet to make his first apperances for the North Londoners. However, when he was on loan to the League one side Charlton earlier last season, Mavididi managed to make five team appearances.
The African born forward will be making a first team appearance for Championship club when the season starts
“He’ll bring pace and a directness from either a wider area or a central nine,” Preston boss Alex Neil said.
“I think he’s a perfect fit for us, certainly regarding attributes that we like to have in the team.”
Meanwhile, in the news Arsene Wenger has finally been able to convince their second choice goal keeper David Ospina to stay at the Emirates Stadium as the Shot stopper will be leading Arsenal B team in the Europa Cup.
The North London Manager said: “It was not easy to convince Ospina to stay, but he will play games and fight with Petr Cech to start.
“And anyway, we play other competitions. He wants to play in a World Cup year.”
