‘Boy is special’ ‘buy him’: Celtic fans delight about highly-rated ace display

Odsonne Edouard

It was a game to be remembered for a long time in the mind of many Celtic fans and in the mind of Odsonne Edouard as his performance was exceptional on the day. The youngster helped Celtic book their place in the Scottish Cup semifinals. His performance has gotten many Celtic fans excited as he was a special victory for them.

The Hoops fans could not hide their excitement as they took to their social media pages to show their appreciation for the mouthwatering outing the French man had.

It was a game that Celtic were expected to win against Morton at Parkhead but it didn’t happen as planned. The game was a tight one than expected as the Championship side gave the current league leaders a run for their money.

It was when Brendan Rodgers brought on Odsonne Edouard after the break that the game opened up. This helped Moussa Dembele get two quick goals in the space of nine minutes after the hour mark.

This performance from Edouard came after several underwhelming outings for the Hoops which has made questions to be raised over his loan move to Parkhead. So, this performance seems all that was needed to convince the fans to let their club pay the £7m asking price to make his deal permanent.

He only did not come in for Scott Sinclair and change the game but also got a goal for himself that rounded the 3-0 win for the Hoops. The goal is the 20-year-old seventh for Celtic and it has not been a bad outing so far.

This performance has now made many fans wanting him in the starting line up more. His current form might be useful for Celtic in their next game as they face Rangers at Ibrox next weekend. A paring with Dembele could be the last jigsaw Celtic will be needing to finish the season with another domestic treble.

  1. Are you a troll? 9pts clear with a game in hand! Some Celtic fans are becoming so arrogant that they fail to understand how challenging it is to play against teams each week who park the bus. As this Celtic team and management strive to break records, show a little humility. You”re beginning to sound like WATP!
