Manchester City would hope to continue their spectacular start to the season this weekend when they take on an unpredictable Swansea side. Pep Guardiola has soon turned City in to one of the title favourites and the Cityzens would be hoping to continue their 100% start to the season.

Sergio Aguero will serve last of his 3-match ban vs the Welsh side which will see Kelechi Iheanacho continue his impressive run in the starting XI. The youngster has combined well with Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling to feed on the opportunities and score crucial goals for his team.

However, it is City’s midfield which has really run the show for them with De Bruyne, Sterling and David Silva all popping up on dangerous positions to either create or finish the chances for Guardiola’s side.

Another positive for the men in Blue was to see Ilkay Gundogan make his Premier League debut vs Bournemouth and scoring in a comfortable 4-0 win. With Gundogan cementing his place in the line-up, Guardiola is now ever so close to implementing his preferred 4-1-4-1 formation at The Etihad.

Do Swansea stand any chance?

On current form, I worry for Swansea because they have leaked goals in and while going forward Fernando Llorente has looked short on options. Gylfi Sigurdsson will once again be the focal point for Swansea’s play moving forward and the home fans will hope for a miraculous display from their team.

Swansea vs Manchester City Prediction

Pep Guardiola will hope for a sound display from his team and now with Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gundogan and David Silva all 100% fit, City manager can even rotate the squad and not suffer any lack in quality to his starting XI.

Prediction – Swansea 0-3 Manchester City
